Ken Daugherty

Master Daugherty is a Certified International Instructor (having taken several different International Instructor Courses, including one from Pioneer GM Park Jong Soo), a Certified International Umpire Class A, a 7th Dan Black Belt in both Traditional Taekwon-Do and in ITF Taekwon-Do. Master Daugherty competed in various tournaments over the years while placing and or/winning several including Power Breaking, Sparring and Patterns.  Won silver medals in both Sparring and Patterns at several international events including an open tournament in the Master’s division against several different styles of martial arts.  He is listed in “The World’s Greatest Martial Artists – Volume 20” and in the “Who’s Who of Martial Arts – Special Tribute to Chuck Norris” as an ambassador master.  He was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2021 as a Distinguished TKD Master. 

Master Daugherty is also influential in helping to achieve a merger between two different ITF organizations, a first in the world to promote unity between the various ITF organizations.
