📖 Meaning
Eui-Am – is the pseudonym of Son Byong Hi, leader of the Korean independence movement on March 1, 1919. The 45 movements refer to his age when he changed the name of Dong Hak (Oriental Culture) to Chondo Kyo (Heavenly Way Religion) in 1905. The diagram (I) represents his indomitable spirit, displayed while dedicating himself to the prosperity of his nation.

- Move the right foot to D forming a left walking stance toward C at the same time executing a high side block to C with the right outer forearm.

💡 Master’s Tips
- Movements 2 & 15 are performed reverse half-facing.
- The twisting kicks are low section, as in Ge-Baek, targeting the femoral artery.
- Movements 9 & 12, the reverse turning kicks, are middle section (chest level).
- Movements 37 & 39, the reverse turning kicks, are high section.
- Movements 10 & 23, the knife-hand strikes, are middle section.
- On movements 11 & 24, when pulling the hands back in preparation for the middle side piercing kicks, position the hands fist-on-fist, as in Ge-Baek.
- The crescent punches target the face, specifically the nose/philtrum area.
- All reverse turning kicks are performed at a 45-degree angle in the pattern.
- In the ending sequence, movements 42–44, the rear foot slips when moving into the next stance.
- The final punch is high section.
